Favorite business tools & resources
Here you’ll find my favorite resources, apps, and platforms that I personally use and love. From website must-haves to design tools and business essentials, these are the things that help me stay organized, inspired, and focused as a highly sensitive business owner.
Squarepace
My all-time favorite website platform! I’ve tried almost every other option out there, but I always come back to Squarespace. It’s an all-in-one platform that’s incredibly user-friendly even if you’re not tech-savvy. That’s something I truly value, especially since many of my clients need something they can easily maintain. I use Squarespace for everything: hosting, selling digital products, email marketing, and even invoicing. When you work with me or purchase a template from my shop, you’re getting a 25% discount on your first year of Squarespace.
Will Myers Code Curious
If you’re interested in learning CSS for Squarespace, this membership is a must! It’s honestly one of the best investments I’ve made. You get access to plug-and-play CSS snippets, helpful tutorials, and a super supportive community. Also I love the plugins! My favorite plugins from Will are Section Loader Supreme, Affiliate Link Genie, Webpage Mockup Display.
Client Work Remastered
If you're a Squarespace designer or planning to work with clients, I can’t recommend this course enough. It was the first Squarespace course I ever took, and it’s still one I tell everyone about. It covers everything from client communication and pricing to file delivery and workflows. Plus, Olga is the sweetest and her teaching style is very calm which is perfect if you’re a sensitive or introverted business owner like me.
Moyo Studio
My favorite place to buy beautiful, minimal mockups. I’ve purchased a few collections from them over the years and always come back because their style fits my aesthetic perfectly and the mockups are so easy to use. Use code MAGGIEBLOSSOM for 15% off your purchase.
Canva
Canva is my daily go-to for all things design. I use it to create worksheets, mockups, social media graphics - pretty much everything. It’s easy to use, flexible, and makes content creation feel fun.
Chrome Extensions I Love
Full Page Screen Capture: lets you take full-page screenshots of your website (perfect for showcasing templates).
Squarespace ID Finder: a must-have if you're working with CSS on Squarespace - it helps you target elements on your website.
Photopea
If you’re not into Photoshop, try Photopea! It’s a free, web-based alternative with a very similar interface. I use it for creating mockups and editing files without needing a subscription or download.
Google Sheets
As a solopreneur, I love using Google Sheets to keep things simple. I track all of my income and expenses in a custom spreadsheet I created which is super minimalistic and simple. I also keep a list of all my affiliate programs in one spreadsheet - it’s a small system, but it keeps me organized.
